Access: Via Escarpment Trail
Description: Windham High Peak is the northernmost peak along the Escarpment Trail. It is also known as the "great northern viewpoint," for the spectacular view at the eastern end of the summit. From this vantage, on a clear day you can see the Adirondacks, Green Mountains, the Berkshires and the Taconics.

The city of Albany is also visible to the northeast. Access is via the Escarpment Trail.
From the west, there are two access points: from Route 23 in East Windham and from Peck Road east of Maplecrest. From the east, the Escarpment Trail may be accessed from the northern piece of the Black Dome Range Trail in Big Hollow.
